For the segment of our population, living under the oppressive socialist dictatorships in California and New York, the news of highly successful vaccine trials provide a glimmer of hope. Interestingly though, as the coronavirus vaccine is mobilized for distribution, new questions on the origins of the virus are surfacing. Particularly, key patent filings for Moderna’s breakthrough vaccine actually date back to March of 2019!

Actual patent filings

There are two key filings with the US Patent Office that are of interest:

  1. Filing 10,702,600 – February 28th, 2020 – Betacoronavirus mRNA vaccine
  2. Filing 10,702,599 – March 28th, 2019 – HPIV3 RNA vaccines

Rather than taking a in-depth read of the 400+ page documents, click through and first make note of how the summaries and background sections for both documents are word-for-word identical. It’s rather perplexing at first glance and begs the question, why would Moderna be concerned with a Coronavirus vaccine in 2019, or even earlier?

Customer base of 0?

Literally no one had the coronavirus at the snapshot in time of early 2019. Accordingly, there was simply no justification for expending capital on a product with no real world application or demand. This was not a liberal arts college; rather, this was a publicly traded company with a board of directors, shareholders and regulated by the SEC.

Coming back to the patent filings, we start to gain insights into the “why.”

If you follow the patent links noted earlier and search for the word “deliberate,” you’ll find an ominous summarization of why vaccine development is so imperative:

The outbreaks of MERS-CoV have raised serious concerns world-wide, reinforcing the importance of developing effective and safe vaccine candidates against MERS-CoV.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) emerged in China in 2002 and spread to other countries before brought under control. Because of a concern for reemergence or a DELIBERATE release of the SARS coronavirus, vaccine development was initiated.

MERS = Middle East respiratory syndrome

So, Moderna cited the, “…DELIBERATE release of the SARS coronavirus…” as a core driver behind vaccine development back in 2019.

It’s important to realize that altruism like this is atypical for a major corporation. Why invest hundreds of millions for the potential of biological warfare (is that what we are talking about here)? How can you be so certain, as a public corporation, that your investment will have a return?

Fast forwarding to November of 2019, consider Moderna’s 3Q earnings report supplement field with the SEC.

As of September 30, 2019Moderna had up to $187 million in additional funding available from grants (including amounts not yet committed) .

Q3 2019 – Exhibit 99.1 – Moderna filing with the SEC

So it seems US Government was the “angel investor,” laser focused on finding a solution to a deliberate biological attack using the coronavirus.

The conspiracy theory?

Let’s start with the assertion: China presented a clear and present danger of executing a biological attack, so we took it upon ourselves to implement counter measures.

The patent filing and the quarterly report clearly point to our government doing it’s job. There was a threat that needed to be addressed and they struck a private partnership.

This is something that clearly Congressional Intelligence Committee members should have had an awareness of as well.

The conclusion

I’d expect no less from China, who was losing big time to the America First policies. The real tragedy is how Democrat lawmakers were more than likely aware of this dynamic, yet chose to push the coronavirus as a election issue against Trump.

Pelosi, Schumer and countless others knew this was a looming threat. Once it came to pass, the pounced on it for political gain. That’s the real tragedy out of all of it.

Otherwise, I find it rather reassuring that our government had taken decisive steps so early on to ensure we were prepared for a biological attack via pandemic. How it was executed is unclear, whether distributed accidentally or just in time to impact our election because of the massive economic impact.

Nonetheless, the fake news continues:

  1. I have a hard time believing that there is actually some kind of conspiracy. I think you watch too much InfoWars.
